Marrakech out to the Erg Chebbi and back, over the Tizi n’Tichka pass and along the kasbah road in both directions. A lunch at Aït Benhaddou, a night in a restored kasbah outside Skoura to break the drive, and an hour on camelback into the dunes at the end of it.
The camp is the reason to do this rather than a shorter desert substitute closer to the city: it sits far enough from the others that the only sound at night is wind, and the beds and showers are real. The return is one long day, which is worth knowing before you commit to it.
Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) where our private driver will meet you for a direct transfer to Riad El Fenn. After checking in and relaxing, join the group on the rooftop terrace for a custom Moroccan welcome dinner overlooking the Koutoubia mosque as twilight settles.
